Hi, I’m Elly. I first fell ‘in love’ with Green Day after listening to “American Idiot.” I loved the rebellion and the artistic qualities to it; It became something I needed in order to get through the day. The band affected me in a way that no other band had before. I learned that there was more to those three young men than they were letting on. Now, it certainly feels as though I can’t live without them, or music in general. There is something incredibly personal about Punk Rock, and they helped me to understand this. I’m a better person because of this music, and I thank them for making me to realize that. I own all their albums, and I’m trying to collect even more stuff if I can… I listen to them when everything else seems boring.

I’m currently a senior in high school, on my way to the ‘real world.’ I’m planning on going to college and study art, english, and maybe a little history. Of course I have to fit music in there, too.
