~ Green Day takes home the Grammy for Rock Album, the same honor they received in 2005 for American Idiot. The American Idiot Musical Cast tweeted about their Grammys experience under the tag #AIGrammys.

I watched the performance, and enjoyed getting a sample of the musical; though I will always prefer hearing Billie Joe Armstrong sing his own songs. I was nervous when the nominees were announced, and happy for Green Day when they won.
