VH1 and MTV posted a new video of the making of the “Know Your Enemy” video. You can watch it now, at VH1 or MTV. It’s pretty great. “This ain’t work, it’s rock and roll.”
They also promise a 30 second sneak peek of the video itself tomorrow. Check MTV Buzzworthy for that.
(Also check the sidebar, or look here, for two earlier short promo videos.)
As posted last night in the sidebar, VH1 says the video for Green Day’s “Know Your Enemy” will premiere online on VH1.com and MTV.com at midnight ET on Thursday April 23.
VH1 says: “This Thursday, April 23, at midnight ET, VH1.com is premiering the record’s first video.”
MTV says: “Beginning Friday at midnight, we will give you the world premiere of Green Day’s “Know Your Enemy” video on Buzzworthy and MTV.com.”
MuchMusic (Canada) confirms that yes, it’s Thursday night.
If you’re in the UK, you can watch it at MTV UK, whose countdown counter lets you know when it’s coming on.
Update: Whatever country you’re in, you’ll be able to watch the video on your own regional MTV site by clicking this link, which will redirect you to the right site based on your region.
The lovely folks at MTV UK sent over some images I thought I’d share. They’re not new — they’re some of the promo photos of the band we received earlier, plus a logo — but they’re huuuge. I know that some of you like the large format photos, so here they are:
Huge photos: 1, 2, 3, logo.
