Some photos of Green Day’s “secret” show at Gilman St, which happened on September 16, 2001, were recently posted on flickr. Click here to see them.

As you probably know, The Influents, Jason White’s band, were playing a show that night, and Green Day got on stage after them, unannounced, and performed for the first time at that club in nine years. There’s a short video of it on YouTube if anyone hasn’t seen it yet. In the video, The Influents play a song, which is really good and worth a listen in itself, and then Green Day come on and you can see just the very beginning of Only of You. At one time you could order the whole DVD of this show from The Influents’ website. I’m not sure if it’s still available, but here’s the link.
