So, is it or isn’t it? You listen and decide. It certainly sounds like Billie Joe - do we have ourselves another Network type project here?

Well, whether that is Billie Joe Armstrong singing “Mother Mary” or not, I still like the sound of these songs - they’re catchy and melodic and just plain good ol’ rock and roll music!

I guess we’ll just have to continue to wonder until we get something official. It’s nice to hear the voice of whomever is singing, tho, and if that isn’t Billie Joe, this guy does one hell of an impression of him.

And I just have to say - what a cool name for a band! Lol!

Is it or isn’t it? I’ve listened and I’ve decided that it is not. It really doesn’t sound like Billie Joe to me at all. I think we suffer from such a very serious case of Green Day withdrawal that we want to believe that this is Billie singing, but even after several times listening I just cannot hear him there.
The music, however, is great.

Hi swetlana, I wasn’t sure the first time I listened either, but I’m sure it’s Billie Joe now. It would be pretty funny though, after all the fanfare, if it turned out not to be! :D

Another clue is that the back of the record has the symbol of the “church of lushtology” which was a symbol used by The Network.

You’re welcome, and thanks for the edit. :) I didn’t write much, but I thought it should be there, and I figured you were away.

There has been so much excitement and so much said about all of this in the past few days - it’s hard to keep up. I wonder if there will ever be a confirmation from the guys or will it just be another Network thingy. Some of the alerts I got say point blank that the FHT are Green Day - don’t know where they get their information from, but oh yeah, it’s the media…

They even made the mtv news…

It does seem that the majority of fans and sites I see are loving the music - as do I! There is just something great about it; I could go on and on…But it is just kick ass rock and roll, and I love it. I truly haven’t felt this way since AI came out - I just can’t get enough , and I can’t get it out of my mind and my soul. It’s made its way in, and is not coming out! I just close my eyes and let it invade. May sound silly, but that’s how I feel.

And just for the record, I think it’s Billie Joe. There is no one in the world that can sing and make me feel like he does, so it has to be him. :)

Well, I’ve listened to. And I decided that, yes, they certainly do. They do sound the hell like BJ, Tre and Mike. Definitely.

I haven’t heard about a cd being sold in stores, but I pre-ordered mine from Amazon. :) Its release date, if I read my confirmation email correctly, is May 11th.
