Ok, so there hasn’t been much news from our favorite musical trio as of late. We get fed little bits and pieces of things here and there, which we, as diehard, adoring fans, gobble up like crazy!! But nothing really significant has happened in ages - and forget even an inkling of what’s going on with the new music.

This little gem popped up today (and how dorkily excited was I??? Can you say ‘black birth-control glasses’, ’snorty laughing’, and ‘pocket protector’ dorky?) - a video interview of Billie Joe at the Magic Marketplace in Las Vegas. Btw, it was posted by a member of GDC, parinaz, who found it on YouTube.

‘Gosh’, I can say a million things about that short two and a half minutes - but to sum it up; he looks great, and it was so good to see him ‘live’, oh, and Adrienne, too! It’s sweet to see him and his wife doing this project together, although she had better let him know about ‘adelinestreet.com’ - that would just be smart for business, I think.

Well, that held me over for today, but see? I never get enough Green Day. I still listen to their music every day, and it never becomes tiresome or old; I fall in love over and over again with those amazing magical words and that sweet voice. When the latest picture comes out, I’m all over it like a…well, like Billie on himself in that certain part of BIAB. *ahem* I can’t get enough!!!!

But we’ve pretty much hit a drought lately, and we’re thirsty, dammit!!!!! Where ARE all the new album/new tour updates???

So, I decided to subscribe to Google alerts recently, so that I get any info right when it happens - first one the cyber block, y’know? As soon as ’something’ GD occurs, it will pop up in an email - oh, ain’t the internet great??? What did we all do when we had to rely on magazines for news, or the radio for updates, or fuck, MTV, when MTV was still ‘music’ television.

Not much really comes through these ‘alerts’ - well, actually that’s not entirely true. I get several ‘Green Day’ alerts a week - Green Day the gelding. A race horse. Ee’s an ansum beast, innit? Apparently he’s doing very well, too, at the track.

Anyway, just rambling on a bit ’cause I haven’t written anything here in so long, and I’ve been wanting to - just well, nothing really to write about.

Hey! Billie, Mike, Tre - we miss you guys. Your fans miss you, and we’ve been waiting so patiently (well, not me, I’m never fucking patient) - seems like such a long time. Yeah, we know it takes hard work, and a lot of time, and yeah, it won’t be ready til it’s ready, but aww, fuck - yeah, we miss you. Muchly.
